Creating the foundation for a life time of learning

Kidstart creates colourful, quality educational posters, charts and books that make learning more fun. This includes an exclusive series of Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime books and early-learning Home Educator books.

All of its products use colours, shapes and familiar images to stimulate young minds and create powerful, progressive learning opportunities. Each product is carefully designed to guide parents and teachers intuitively as they play a supportive teaching role.

Kidstart posters are also designed and printed in Australia. It only uses eco-friendly vegetable ink and FSC certified paper stock, while waste paper is always recycled after every print run.

Supporting Australian authors and artists

The Home Educator Series is professionally compiled by, Maisie Moller, a retired primary school teacher and mother of six. Maisie is a passionate advocate of early education. She taught each of her sons and daughters to read and write before they started school. Prior to her retirement in Queensland she taught in schools through the Pacific region including New Zealand, The Republic of Nauru and the Solomon Islands.

The Dreamtime series of books are the inspiration of artist and writer, Dan Purches. Dan's tribal name is Naiura. His maternal grandfather was a member of the Burramattagal clan of the Darug people. His people frequented the Parramatta River area of New South Wales. Naiura's mother taught him to be an artist. She also shared her Dreamtime stories with him; each passed down through successive generations by word of mouth. Naiura has now captured them for posterity in a colourful series of illustrated books.
